About Own Your Movement

Own Your Movement is a personalized health and wellness coaching program founded by Dr. Kate Ayoub, physical therapist and health coach. In her career as a physical therapist, Kate saw that many patients knew the “right” things to do health-wise, but lacked the strategies to successfully implement them.

Through Own Your Movement, Kate utilizes motivational interviewing, the science of habits, positive psychology, and her expertise as a physical therapist to design programs tailored to each client’s specific goals.

About Dr. Kate Ayoub PT, DPT, MPH
Dr. Kate Ayoub graduated from New York Medical College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Master's in Public Health. She is a Wellcoaches® Certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Dr. Ayoub has worked in health care for almost a decade in inpatient hospitals, outpatient, and corporate settings. Her career has included a wide variety of patient populations, including high-level athletes; office workers; geriatrics; and individuals with stroke, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, cardiac conditions, and other major medical concerns.

Dr. Ayoub is an adjunct faculty member at Marymount University in their Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
